PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a NO-PRINT deck of stuttering scenarios and conversation starters. These topics and scenarios are designed to be used with school-age (3rd-12th grade) children who stutter (CWS), to target feelings about stuttering, how to handle the social impact of stuttering, and self-advocacy skills. Children are given the opportunity to think about and express their feelings surrounding stuttering.

There are 38 stuttering scenarios, which should get a school-based SLP through a whole school year if you use 1 scenario per week.

These slides can be used on an iPad, or played on a desktop or laptop computer. If you would like them printed you can print 2 slides per page.

This product provides intervention material focusing on the Affective and Social domains of stuttering, as described in the CALMS stuttering model developed by Dr. Charles Healey (www.calmsstuttering.com). I have no financial or personal connection with Dr. Healey or the CALMS model.

The preview file has brief directions, as well as a few sample conversation topics. You can find more info about the Chat Pack on my blog here: http://wp.me/p1yIvb-gn
