These dotted flies are the perfect way to practice subitizing and counting during your insect theme! Teach students to subitize groups of 4-5 dots by looking at the head or the body, identifying the number without counting, and then counting on to find the total. Great way to build number sense and counting skills. Can even be played as memory match by matching one set of dots to a different set of dots or matching one set of dots to numerals.
