Are you looking for subitizing activities for your students? This packet includes two subitizing activities for your students. The first activity is a game where students cover all the squares on the game board and lift up the square for three seconds while the other student tries to guess what the number of dots is. If they are correct they get to keep the square. If they get it wrong they have to put the square back and it's the other players turn. The one with the most squares at the end wins. There are 5 different game boards for this game.
The second activity is a subitizing race. There are 10 levels for students to complete. Give students 2-5 minutes to complete each leveled subitizing worksheet. Each time they successfully complete a subitizing leveled worksheet they can move onto the next leveled worksheet. These can be done a few times a week to enhance instant recognition.
