Subitizing Cards can be used with your students to quickly and easily recognize and discriminate small numbers of objects. As students practice with the dot pattern cards, they begin to recognize spatial patterns and instantly see how many dots are presented. Recognizing more complex patterns will help students as they begin the transition from counting to addition.
The cards can be used as a whole group or small group activity. The self-checking feature allows the students to use the cards in an independent math center.
This set contains 73 cards of various dot patterns and ten frames ranging from 0-10.
Simply print the cards on tag or construction paper, fold in half and laminate for durability.
