Number Anchors 0-12 Charts
This set of no-prep charts are the first in my series of “Getting to the Heart of it Charts”
. These kinds of anchor charts help children begin to deeply understand the meaning of whatever math concept is being taught. In this packet the charts contain those symbols we all call numerals (numbers). Each number card includes a dice pattern, tally marks, a 10-frame, a finger pattern, a domino, and the number word embedded inside a 9.5” tall number. Also included are instructions for how to use these brightly colored anchor charts in your classroom with your students.
The visual representations of numbers are powerful ways to help students’ recognize and remember the quantity each numeral represents, building a strong foundation for future learning in mathematics. Introducing, using, posting, and referring to these Number Anchor 0-12 Charts
will help build the foundation for the all of the Kindergarten CCSS Domain of Counting and Cardinality and the SMP’s.
