This PowerPoint reviews/introduces subject verb agreement in sentences. The students first review that a complete sentence must have a subject (who/noun) and a predicate (what/verb) and the different between singular and plural. Next, the students learn the 1st rule for when the subject is singular followed by a few practice slides. Then, the students learn the 2nd rule for when the subject is plural followed by a few practice slides. Last, the students work with a partner to complete the sentences on the slide using either rule 1 or rule 2.
Please check out my subject-verb agreement sort that could be used after the PP!
