A complete sentence has a subject and a predicate. This presentation explains what is a subject and what is a predicate. It also allows the opportunity for students to identify both the subject and predicate in various sentences and to write complete sentences by adding either a subject or a predicate.
This presentation is scaffolded, so it builds in rigor and difficulty so that all students are able to succeed.
You could use student whiteboards or notebooks to do a quick assessment with this PowerPoint or you can use it for whole group discussion.
