This pack includes three activities for students to do involving complete subjects of a sentence.
*Subject Sort Activity: Students cut out the sentences and then underline the complete subject of each. They then paste the sentence in the correct subject depending on how many words make up each of the complete subjects.
*Silly Subject Mad-Lib: Students write either singular or plural subjects in each of the boxes at the top. They then cut them out and paste them in the corresponding box at the bottom. This will create a funny story for students to share with each other while understanding more of what a subject of a sentence is.
*Match 'Em Up: Subjects: Memory game where students match a sentence with the subject of the sentence. 24 cards.
*Subject/Predicate Sort: Cut out the boxes, glue each box into the correct section
*Subject/Predicate flipbook: Students cut on the dotted line, then fold down on the line; students write a sentence at the very bottom of the page so that the flaps do not cover the sentence; On top of flap one have students write subject; on top of flap two have them write predicate; Underneath flap one have them write the subject of the sentence that they wrote at the bottom and draw a picture of it; Then have them write the predicate underneath flap two and draw a picture of the action; this helps students be able to disect their own sentences into the correct parts.
