This is the classic game of battleship. The students place boats (fill in the boxes on the top table). Then playing in groups of two, students try to sink and find the boats of the other opponent by saying subjunctive sentences. There are the parts of speech on the top, with the subjunctive trigger words on the left hand side. Students will form a sentence, like
Yo recomiendo que tú estés siempre feliz.
All of the necessary vocabulary is on the sheet for student reference. There are two grids for each player to use, one to put his/her own “boats” on and the other to keep track of the opponent.
