Product Description
This is a table that can be used to summarize the reasons to use the subjunctive. The table shows each reason for the subjunctive and shows when the indicative would be used or, if possible, the infinitive. There is a sample sentence (one in the "present" and one in the "past") for each box on the table.

Reasons include: Impersonal Expressions, verbs of Doubt/Denial, Influence & Emotion (something my students abbreviate as DIE verbs), to show hypothesis or probability (with words like quizás and tal vez) , antecedents, conjunctions, si clauses
