Do your students need more practice using subjunctive to give advice and make recommendations? Print out these 25 situations and hang them in the hall or attach them to clipboards. Students pair up and work together to read the situations and write advice to resolve each issue. Have students answer 12 situations with original advice, trying not to repeat previous suggestions by other partners. Activity takes one class period to run and students enjoy reading the situations which are similar to problems they experience in their own lives. Suitable for a level III class or higher where students have been working with subjunctive for awhile.
