Subtraction Boogle can be used for extra practice, homework, or extension on this math skill. I use boogle in my classroom for early finishers. Some students finish tasks at different timeframes. Boogle is a great tool to use for students to work on when they are done with their given assignments. One rule in my room is that when we finish early, we are working on our BOOGLE. It can even be assigned for homework. Have your students complete 5 subtraction questions from their boogle, simple as that.
How do I implement this activity?
Each page has two printouts per page to save paper. I give them to my students and they glue it in their journals. The actual problems are worked out on the pages in their journals. I also take the first two number sets and we do it together as a class. They record my expectations in their journals and they work on these at their own pace.
