Looking for an active way for your students to practice subtraction in your kindergarten or first grade classroom? Subtraction bowling is fun for kids and EASY for you! You will need a ball and some plastic cups to do this in your classroom. You can also use a toy bowling set if you have one. This product includes four recording sheets to do subtraction number sentences with numbers 6,10, 15, and 21.
You will set the cups up in a triangular formation and let students take turns rolling the ball to knock them down. The number sentence will be written as: total number of cups - cups knocked down = cups left standing.
There is no preview file for this set because the only sheet not pictured is 21 and it looks exactly like the others. I hope you and your students have a "ball " doing this in your classroom!
