The following PowerPoint is a connect four game where students will be asked to find the difference of numbers below 20.
To begin the game:
Separate the class into two teams. This game is played similarly to the actual game of Connect Four.
To begin using the game, click on Slideshow and then View Show. Click on any blue circle to select a question.
The question will appear as well as possible answers. Have students select answer (incorrect answers will appear with a red dot and correct answers will appear with a green dot). If a team answers incorrectly, the opposing team will get to take the space. Click on the button that says “Return to Game Board.”
When you return to the game board, the blue circle will now contain a red and black circle (game piece) to go in the space. To place a game piece in a spot, click on the appropriate red or black circle within the blue circle.
The first team to get 4 in a row wins.
