This download includes five error analysis problems that practice subtraction. All problems will require regrouping. Three of the problems specifically use the standard algorithm of subtraction in the student work, and the other two could be solved using any method.
These tasks perfectly align with 4th grade Common Core standard: 4.NBT.4: Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm. They would also be great to use in a third grade classroom for acceleration or a fifth grade classroom for remediation.
These tasks would be great to use during guided math centers, whole-group centers, or independent practice.
