Subtraction Facts to 20 – Subtraction Fact Strategy Anchor Charts
Help your students to recall and apply mental strategies to compute the basic subtraction facts within 20 with this set of ten anchor wall charts. You’ll love the visual cues that are designed to support your explicit strategy instruction for subtraction facts in the first and second grades.
I’ve included additional single-page charts for a title heading, the doubles facts, and the make ten facts.
Each chart includes visual and verbal cues to enhance your explicit instruction while providing support for students to recall and apply the subtraction fact strategies.
You have a choice of color or black/ gray/ white options.
This newest edition has anchor charts for both Count Down and Count Back so you can choose, as well as a single-page chart with the Make Ten facts illustrated with ten frames.
In addition, small quarter-page size mini-charts have been added. These may be hole punched and placed on rings to send home with individual students or to keep handy at school for easy reference.
Please note that the color rabbit still looks great when printed in black/ white.
