Subtraction Math Game for Centers dogs themed

Give A Dog A Bone is a fun game to help first and second graders learn subtraction up to 20, and will help reinforce number sense. It has single digit subtraction within 10 and double digit subtraction through 20. It works well during math centers or any small group activity time. Directions on how to play, a game board and all the necessary playing cards are included in the pack. There are a total of 32 pages of problem cards, 192 problem cards in all. Each subtraction “problem card” gives the answer in red, under the problem. That way the reader will know if the player gives the correct answer or not. It reinforces learning for all players.

This game aligns with first and second grade Common Core State Standards (CCSS aligned):

1.OA.6. Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10

2.OA.2. Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
