Each game board includes a 10-section spinner with different numbers to be spun. A handy 0-10 number line is on each game board for reference. There are 14 equations on each board for you and your students to solve, too!

Setup is a breeze! Print all pages on white cardstock. Laminate them for durability. Attach paperclip “arrows” to the spinners using a brass fastener and inserting it through the star on each spinner. Gather some dry erase markers and you’re ready to go!

I use this game during center time with my kindergartners. Students pick a game board to use individually. They spin the spinner and then write the number spun on the first empty line with a marker. Next, they solve the subtraction equation! For an added level of thinking, students circle the different equations they spin and solve. At the end, they count how many circled equations they solved that are different. When finished, they erase and play again!

This game could also be played in partners using 2 different colored dry erase markers and work as a race to spin and solve the larger amount of different equations! Can you think of other ways to play?

Have fun!
