Based around the research based strategy of self-monitoring, I have created a series of worksheets that allows your student to practice each step of subtraction with regrouping step by step.
Individual steps are written out next to the problem, and once the student completes one step, they slide down to the next step and check their work.
This is great for beginners or for students who are struggling to remember the steps of regrouping.
-picture guide for the teacher to implement strategy
-5 worksheets of double digit subtraction
-5 worksheets of three digit subtraction with regrouping from the tens column only
Each worksheet features only ONE problem. The background is graph paper and I created a simple lay out that students are not visually overwhelmed :)
