These 3 practice worksheets are all about using the suffixes -ful, -less, -able, and -ness.

In two of these worksheets, students are asked to choose the right suffix to add to a given word to complete sentences. One of the worksheets asks students to add a suffix to a given word and write their own sentence using the word.

This resource is similar to my resource Suffixes: -ful, -less, -able, -ness / 3 worksheets - Grade 3 - CCSS. That resource includes an explanation of the suffixes and how to use them. This resource does not include explanations, so the worksheets can be used for assessment as well as for extra practice or review. (The two resources include different sentences so they are not duplicate.)

These worksheets are designed for grades 3 and 4. Perfect for in-class or take-home assignments.

Worksheets support Common Core Standards L.3.1i, L.3.2, L.3.2e, L.3.4, L.3.4b, L.4.1, L.4.1f, L.4.4, L.4.4b
