Suit-Up Like an Astronaut!
by Tiny Space Adventures
Create a realistic replica of the EVA spacesuit! All details, from the knobs on the Control and Display Module to the location of the patches are based on the real NASA spacesuit. Comprehensive background information on all parts of the spacesuit are included ranging from 'Astronaut Underwear' to the lifesaving 'Jetpack'. Step by step instructions are provided along with pictures of each stage. Students can test their understanding of each spacesuit part with the matching activity provided.
To complete this activity, teacher must provide coveralls and 1/2 side of a square box. You can buy 25 coveralls for $24.00 & 50 boxes for $34.00 but since you get to use both sides of the box, it's like you are getting twice for your money. Information on where to buy these items is provided in this lesson.
Activity is perfect for special events, clubs, projects, or even Halloween!
