Print out the "suitcases" that are in the zip file. Fold them in half, and have students each select a suitcase that represents a different place in the Spanish-speaking world. They open the suitcase to answer the question ¿De dónde eres?. The suitcases provide a real context for teaching subject pronouns as well. You can also glue the papers to construction paper, laminate them and add velcro to keep them closed. They make for fun, immersive speaking prompts. They can also be used to learn and practice nationalities.
