I made this up for my AP Environmental class to review their cycles. The board and cards that you will download and print are all you need to play the game. I generally like to keep prices low but due to the time I put into this, I am charging $6 for a cycle or $18 for four cycles (the sulfur, phosphorus, nitrogen, and carbon cycle). Keep group sizes small to allow for better review and use small knickknacks or pieces of paper to serve as players’ pieces. There is a sheet of notes for students to fill in as they play if you would like to use the game as a form of notes for students to teach themselves.
Please note that my biogeochemical cycle games are not like my other games in that you do not have to answer questions. The cards tell you about a step in the cycle or a fact related to the cycle and then just tell you how much to move (forward or backward). If you want to, there are a few blank cards that you can personalize with information that you find to be the most important.
I made this because the steps are not covered in detail within my AP Environmental curriculum, but I wanted my students to have a chance to learn more without me lecturing.
