This game is played like concentration. The students lay the cards on the table or desk in rows. One player takes two cards and turns them over, if they match, they take another turn. What is different about this game is the skill. The skill is to teach students the relationship between addition and multiplication. For example, the player turns over one card that says: Two numbers with a sum of 5 and a product of 6. The second card says; The numbers are 3 and 2. This is a match because when you add 3 + 2 = 5 and 3 x 2 = 6. If the first card says a says Two numbers with a sum of 7 and a product of 10 and the second card says; The numbers are 7 and 2. This is not a match because the sum of 7 and 2 is 9 and the product is 14. This is important because both statements have to be true for it to be a match.
