This reading Center supplies passages that are easy to summarize with "somebody, wanted, but, so then" method. Each passage gives a clue to what happened at the ending without directly stating what happened. The inference question helps the kids to use what they know from the passage and what they know about their experiences to make an inference. Inference cards are included for those who may struggle to make inferences.
