This is a game I have my students play once per month called Whose Book is Whose? I ask that each student secretly choose their favorite book they read that month and turn it into me (all while not letting their classmates see which book they are turning in). I line the books up on the board and assign each one a number. Each student receives a summary form and a guessing template (I copy these back to back). First, students use the "Somebody, Wanted But, So, Then" format to write a brief summary. Once all summaries are complete, students take turn sharing what their books were about as the rest of the class tries to match each summary to each book title displayed on the board. My students love this and I'm sure yours will too!
