When you summarize, think of how to retell your favorite movie to someone who has never seen it before. You tell “just enough” about it to introduce people to the characters and one or two of the main events. You don’t give too much away to spoil the ending for someone else!
Summarizing with the Stars gives your students plenty of creative and engaging ways to practice this challenging skill!
