Summary Project

Students create a comic book or graphic novel summary for the book they are reading.

Great for small group teaching, book reports, book clubs or just summarizing a book!

Included are:
Teacher directions
Student friendly directions
Recording pages to record their summaries
Grading rubric
Comic book pages to create the comic books

Students read their text. At the end of each chapter students record a summary for the chapter. Included in this product are multiple examples of summary pages that can be used (or use your own graphic organizer).

After recording all of the chapter summaries, students then use the summaries to create their graphic novel/comic book. Each summary becomes a box on the graphic novel page. Then, they've created their own graphic novel version of their book!
