Summary Strategy Organizer for K-12

Looking to simplify the teaching of summary with your students? This graphic organizer is the tool that I have utilized year after year with my students. I have found great success helping my students be able to summarize fiction effectively utilizing this easy to implement teaching tool.

Teach this Summary strategy in a minilesson on summary with a picture book and provide students with a copy for their Reading Notebook. Students will be writing summary paragraphs immediately.
