Description
In this patriotic-inspired digital breakout, it's time to celebrate! It's Red, White, and Blue time! Let's solve some clues to unlock each lock below. Put on your thinking cap and let's go!
A digital breakout escape room for the following holidays: Veterans Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, President's Day, and Labor Day.
Early finishers? Have them complete this digital mystery hundreds chart - Digital Hundreds Chart Mystery Picture - Independence Day
This NO PREP (Google Sites) digital activity is designed to be completed as a whole group (K-2) and as 2nd graders become more familiar with the process of "breaking out" they may work independently, with partners, or in small groups.
Students will have the opportunity to practice:
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Collaboration
- Communication
- Problem-solving
- Perseverance
This Digital Breakout Includes:
A link to a Google Site (Check w/ your school district to ensure that you can access Google Sites)
Answer Key
Word Lock - Students will determine the correct beginning sound for each image, then guess the word.
Number Lock - Students will use the fill format tool (paint bucket) to fill in each star.
Direction Lock - Students will follow the direction of the EVEN numbers.
Color Lock - Students will determine the place value for each underlined digit then choose the correct color star (ones, tens, hundreds).
