This set of materials (interactive books, print-and-go, cookie sheet / file folder activities) is designed to help students generalize their ability to match and identify 6 basic vocabulary words that are taught in discrete trials. It would be great for preschool centers or in work systems for students with special needs. They are extensions for working on generalization from my DTT Learning Readiness Kit. They are great for
• ABA programs,
• discrete trials,
• speech sessions.
• Independent work

There are print-and-go activities that are designed to allow you time to present trials to two students. Present a trial to one student and have him color that part of the picture while you present a trial to another. Please see the curriculum cross-reference page in the preview for information about how these activities line up with popular ABA curricula.

There are also interactive books that can be used in group activities or in small group and file folder activities that can be laminated and used in structured work systems for students to practice mastered skills independently.

The activities include 6 words / pictures for matching and receptive ID (spoon, bowl, cup, block, car, and shoe) to coordinate with my Discrete Trials Kit: Learning Readiness Skills. They use summer themes including camping and beach.

What’s Included?
• 2 Camping-Themed Interactive Books (one each with photos and one with clip art).
• 6 Color Find and Cover the Object Sheets in which the students find all the pictures of a specified item and cover it with a coin or marker.
• 6 Black-and-White Dot the Object Sheets in which students use daubers or bingo markers to dot the items.
• 8 Black-and-white Color-by-Object Pictures (e.g., A cup is on a tent panel and they are told to color the part of the picture with the cup green). There are 3 versions of each—one without cues, one with color cues, and one with color and picture cues. 2 sets of the activities have the student find multiple items.
• 2 Matching File Folders (one with photos and one with clip art) for the 6 items.

Words included: cup, spoon, bowl, block, car, shoe
