I created these booklets to help my kiddos keep the skills they have worked on during the school year. Most kids regress over every break from school– Special Education students are especially susceptible to regression!
These booklets are no-frills. Just math problems. The problems were created to be easier for Special Ed. and Intervention Kiddos; however, all kids benefit from extra practice! Students are to complete one page of math each day.
Because Summer Break is longer, I broke the booklets into 2 week sections. Each booklet has a over-arching math skill that students will focus on for 2 weeks.
Skills covered include:
Addition and Subtraction
Multiplication and Division
Perimeter, Area, and Volume
There is also a reading log on the back so that kids can record their reading.
These booklets would work for 6th graders who are struggling with math skills and 4th graders who are high fliers!
I've included extra cover pages for this reason.
When you print each booklet, you are only using 3 pages of paper for each booklet. This means you are only using 15 sheets of paper for ten weeks of work! This is so great--especially if you're on a paper shortage! =)
