Each grade level at my school created a summer calendar of activities for students to complete and this calendar was a great place to start. Even better that you could edit it!
To help prevent the dreaded summer slide, we used this resource as a suggested homework calendar for our kinder friends.
Description
This is a summer calendar (June-August) with quick and simple activities for parents to have their child do daily, so they don't lose everything we have taught them this year. You can edit the activities and date, so you can use this for years to come! Included are activities for reading, writing, and math. The activities on this calendar are mainly skills taught in Kindergarten. When I make my calendars, I print each month on different colored paper then staple together to make it a bit more fun!
I have left this as an editable file that opens in Powerpoint, so you can change the activities, 1st day of school, year, etc.
