This download contains a Count the Room activity with a summer theme. Students will walk around the room to find the picture cards. They will count the pictures and write the corresponding number on their record sheet. You can make enough copies for each student, or you can laminate a copy and have one student use it at a time as a center.
The numbers the students will be counting are 10-19, and the pictures are arranged in ten frames. Identifying numbers in the teens is often difficult for beginning learners. This activity provides a fun way to practice these numbers. There are two “cards” on each page. Print them and cut the pages in half to get each card. You will have ten cards total to post around your classroom.
You will receive 10 picture cards, a record sheet, and an answer key for easy checking.
