I created this fun, end of the year activity to utilize in multiple ways depending on just what my students need. I am going to thoroughly explain just what this packet includes!! First, I wanted my kiddos to not only be able to look at a digital clock and present the analog time, and vice versa...I wanted them to see the "wording" for time varieties and know how to figure out the actual time. SO this activity can be considered challenging in a way, again depending on your students and grade level! It is focused on telling time to the 5 minutes. I have created 18 "time task cards", which essentially are using "words" for your child to figure out the time. I have then also created the actual "analog" match cards...so they can match and check behind themselves! You can use these if you like, or you can simply have the students figure out the task cards on their own without reference to the analog cards! Then I have provided a variety of "recording sheets". The first (front/back) recording sheet, allow your students to simply write the "digital" time, but also enjoy the fun summer clipart and color for fun!!! Who doesn't enjoy that? The second version (front/back) of the recording sheet, has your kiddos, draw the hands on a blank analog clock, as well as write the digital time for each of the task cards questions. This version too has fun clipart to color afterwards. Then the third version, is very basic (can be printed one sided), and the kiddos can simply write in the digital time for each task card. So again, it is just however you would like to use everything!
Pages 1-3: Time question/task cards
Pages 4-6: Matching analog clocks (if needed)
Pages 7-8: First version of recording sheet intended to be copied front/back (write digital and color for fun).
Pages 9-10: Second version of recording sheet intended to be copied front/back (make analog, and write digital, and color!)
Pages 11: Third version of recording sheet intended to be one sided (just write the digital time...very basic).
