This summer-themed review of mi-so-la patterns is great for the end of the year or at the beginning of the year (to see what your students remember). Hang (and/or hide) the twelve cards with so-mi patterns. Students work in pairs - one to find the pattern (and number on the card) and the other to write them down.
Four types of worksheets (with answer keys) are provided. You can either have the students write down the number of the card for each pattern or write the pattern out. This resource includes three sets of cards: 1) with mi-so-la on the lines, 2) with mi-so-la on the spaces and 3) with pattern names only (students match it to the pattern on the worksheet). You can make it a true race with this scavenger hunt and even let students "challenge" each other regarding their answers. Two game option directions are included as well (regular scavenger hunt vs scavenger hunt and challenging answers). You will have just as much fun as your students!
