This fun end of the year gift serves two purposes—it gives your students challenges in reading, math, language arts, science/social studies, and sight words to help them review skills they learned over the course of the year. PLUS….what kid doesn’t love gum? :)
I bought miniature bubble gum machines from Oriental Trading for $2 each. Once the gum is chewed, they can be used as banks! Or, you can buy bubble tape, bubble gum, etc.
Copy the challenges on bright card stock, attach together with a ring clip, clothes pin, etc. and watch your students’ faces light up!
I’ve included blank templates so you can program in your own challenges! :)
I’ve included Suggested 1st-2nd grade challenges as well as blank challenge cards for the following categories:
Other (Science/Social Studies)
Pre-Primer through 3rd Grade Sight Word Lists
Suggested Books to Read
The editable blank templates can easily be used for K-3rd grade. Or you can differentiate by programming different challenges for different students! The sky's the limit! :)
