This fun and festive summer lemonade math craft activity will help your students practice adding fractions--many with unlike denominators. This resource is very easy to use—the only prep is printing! Included in this resource are 30 numbered lemonade glasses so that each of your students will have a unique project. Students will add the fraction found on their lemonade glass to the fraction found on the cut-and-paste ice cubes. Students will then write the sum on each ice cube. Also included is an extra practice worksheet for your early-finishers!
This craft is fun for students, looks great in classroom displays, and helps your students practice important math skills! Students will need glue, scissors, and colors in order to complete this activity. Grade-level scissor skills are needed to complete the craft; however I have also included a copy where ice cubes are already in the lemonade glass in case you have a student with below-level scissor skills.
