Looking for a way to encourage your students to think like mathematicians this summer? This simple summer activity helps encourages students to be on the lookout for math in their daily lives. At least once a week students find a real life math problem that they encounter and record it on the provided calendars. Students need to write out the math problem the encounter, record any equations needed and solve. Students also record how often they practice their math facts. There is a recording sheet for addition & subtraction math facts and multiplication & division math facts. Pick just one sheet, or send them both home!
Color and black & white options are available
