This project includes 5 picture squares that students will color using their math skills. Once colored, the squares are cut out and then assembled into a large mural. The teacher or students can decide on the mural pattern.

Each picture has 37 worksheets for the following skills: matching numbers to 20, number words, addition to 20, subtraction within 20, doubles addition, doubles + 1 addition, multiplication from 1 to 12 and division from 1 to 12. You decide on the size of your mural and which pictures you would like to use. You could use all of the pictures and create a repeating pattern or a random one. Or you could make just a butterfly mural for example using just the butterflies and flowers..
Assembly: To assemble the mural simply tape or staple each square to your bulletin board. The squares and 6.5” by 6.5” once cut out.
