Product Description
These centers are designed to help students develop key mathematical concepts while promoting seasonal fun. Each center comes with a worksheet to extend thinking beyond the activity.

The center activities are:

p. 4-12 Measuring Objects: Students measure a variety of objects in inches and centimeters and record their measurements. Students can also create line plot of their measurements.

p. 13-15 Tally and Graph: Students spin a spinner, tally and graph their results. This activity is similar to the Tally and Graph in my Spring Math Centers.

p. 16-22 Three-Digit Addition: Students solve three-digit addition problems on a number line or with an algorithm. Answer cards are included so students can check their answers.

p. 23-29 Splashing Along: Students play a board game and tell the other players 10 more, 10 less, 100 more, and 100 less than a given card. Included are sentence frames and a recording sheet.

p. 30-32 Summer Problems: These are open ended problems. Students are given a set of information and must ask and answer a question about that information. There is an opportunity to ask and answer four questions. Students can trade questions for their partners to answer.

p. 33-38 True or False: Use Estimation: In this center, students read a word problem and an estimated answer. Students have to tell whether the estimation is true or false. If it is false, students must write down a correct reasonable estimate.

For most activities, simply print the cards on cardstock and laminate for durability. Copy enough worksheets for each student or pair of students.
