Summer Olympic Games Articulation!
60 pages of articulation practice! Targeting the following sounds in initial, medial, and final positions: /s, s blends, z, r, r blends, l, blends, sh, ch, j, p, b, m, n, t, d, k, g, f, v, voiceless th/. (/ng/ is also included, but only in the final position.)
1 “Score Card”: Print and attach a copy to the student’s articulation sheet...students can score their own productions at home! Using the scorecards is optional based on the skills and needs of each student!
1 Template “Score Card”: No directions...clinicians add their own directions for scoring (as each clinician has different wordage and systems for scoring). Modify how it’s used to meet the needs of your student, ex: have the student record the dates they practiced in each box, have the student draw a happy face, etc.
1 Template or Create Your Own Articulation page: Clinician adds their own words, remember to select the level of practice, # times to practice/per week, and the sound/position (top right corner). You can also have students create their own lists as part of the session and then send the list home!
Great for in-session practice or home practice/homework!
NOTE: Words are PRINTED, pictures of articulation words are NOT included!!! If a child can not read the words, an adult/helper can read and model the word for the child.
Clinician Directions: Each worksheet has 3 levels to choose from: Say each word, Say each word ____ times, or Use the word in a sentence. Clinician selects the level (highlight or circle the level if sending home) AND the # of times to practice per week. There is also a line for parent/helper signature (if desired) and additional notes (if you need to write any tips or comments).
These worksheets are meant to be ‘quick sheets’ for quick practice. They can also be paired with any board game, iPad game, etc (ex: Say 10 words, take a turn at a game). You can also have the child/student complete a coloring page of their choice (color 2 areas after 10 words of practice), etc.
The sheet/s can be placed on a refrigerator for easy, daily practice after meal time, etc.
