Special education, intervention, and primary summer packet for keeping up reading and writing skills over summer break!
Fun activities to keep kids reading and writing over the summer!
Often summer work packets end up unfinished, or have to be forced on children. This packet has open-ended low stress activities to encourage the love of reading and writing.
Children can choose a few activities, do them all, or parents can extend them. This summer packet is also easy to implement in a summer school or ESY program.
It has 15 simple activities which include reading informational text like recipes and song lyrics, drawing and crafts, writing fun poetry, flip-flap book, and book suggestions.
The packet is designed for children who are reluctant readers and writers, who need unique ways to hook them on maintaining reading and writing skills in the summer, without burning them out!
