Great fun and fine motor skill work in preparation for the next school year!
I hope your students enjoy these Summer Picture Tracing pages. Even young students can try their hand at creating summer-themed pictures by simply tracing the lines. They'll be having fun while working on their fine motor skills! You can hang completed pictures up to decorate your summer school classroom, use as an activity for a summer class party, as an early-finisher activity, or any way you see fit to get into the summertime spirit!
Here are some fun ways to fill in the pictures after tracing the lines:
*Color with crayons, markers, or paints—adding additional decorations and details to the traced pictures.
*Glue on small pieces of colored tissue paper.
*Tear up different colored pieces of paper from catalogs, magazines, or construction paper and glue them on the picture(s) to make a mosaic art piece.
*Dazzle and sparkle the pictures with glitter or glitter glue, especially the pictures that include water designs!
*Tracing pages include: beach ball, pail and shovel, swimming pool, sprinklers, watermelon and ants, flip flops, sand castle, surfer, fireworks.
