Summer Reading Game | I Have Who Has Story | Pool Beach Shark Mermaid

This read-aloud game for first and second graders follows a variation of the "I Have ___. / Who Has ___?" pattern to piece together a silly summer story. (The story was actually inspired by a crazy end-of-the-school-year dream that I had!) Read your students a fun beach or pool day story -- and then play this game to build fluency and vocabulary. Then, finish up your library time with a word find puzzle that has a bit of coloring fun, too!

Here's what you'll get:

- 32 story cards with statements and questions following the pattern "I have _______. Who has _________?" (NOTE: A few cards have text that is a little more difficult to keep more advanced readers engaged in the game.)

- Directions.

- 2 pages with the answer key sequence laid out as a grid.

- A word find with a bit of coloring fun and an answer key.
