Help readers bloom this summer (or anytime) by encouraging independent reading!

Students who do not read for pleasure often fall substantially behind their classmates who read for pleasure during the summer months.

Reading success is cumulative, as is reading decline.

When we practice anything, whether it be golf, basketball, knitting, or reading, we get better at it. Modern students need to understand the joys of choosing your own subject matter to read.
