Are you concerned about the summer "Brain Drain?" The summer time is a great time for students to engage in STEM learning outside of the classroom! I've created this journal template as a way for students to keep track of challenges they are identifying around the house and taking steps to design innovative solutions. Students will have the opportunity to continue their engagement with Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics throughout the summer! I have built in a reflection piece so that students can reflect on the skills that they are developing as they explore STEM. I have also provided an online resource for students to explore, in addition to a Teacher Resource section in case you'd like to integrate technology and make this an interactive journal experience for your students.
You also have the opportunity to use this with your students throughout the school year. Be great!
