Summer Science Calendar will help your students come better prepared for Science class next school year. The calendar contains daily home activities for June, July, and August that are simple and tied to physical, earth, and life sciences. Each bolded word within the calendar is defined and illustrated in the Science Vocabulary glossary.
Once students complete an activity, they are to record their findings inside of a journal (composition or spiral notebook). The journal can be turned in the first day of school and added onto as new material is introduced. The hope is to have kids gain experiences so they can make connections to the new learning that will occur during the upcoming school year.
These activities could also be used as Warm-Ups, Entrance/Exit Tickets, or as Homework throughout the school year.
