This kindergarten and first grade sentence writing practice activity is a fun way for students to practice sentence building throughout the year. There are 72 printables. Each month has a 6 differentiated sentence building worksheets containing past, present, and future tenses. One side has sample word banks for students to use. The other side has blank boxes so they can generate their own ideas.

Use these sentence writing practice pages to help your students learn several different common core skills.

K.L.1.1. – Print upper and lowercase letters

K.L.1.2. – Capitalize the first word in a sentence and the pronoun I.

K.RF.1.1. – Understand that words are separated by spaces in print.

K.RF.3.3 – Read high-frequency words by sight.

These can also be used to cover many first grade standards as well.
