Set Up: Print cover page for the craft (pg. 4). Cut around the shell. Students can color their shell. Print the skill pages each student needs – you can do more than one skill, as you will be cutting out the pages and stapling them to the back of the shell. See completed craft on pg. 3.
SKILLS:
•WH questions (one page each for who, what, where, when, why)
•Core words: (one page each for more, go, stop, in, off, look, like)
•Pronouns + present progressive verbs
•Regular past tense verbs
•Irregular past tense verbs
•Regular plurals
•Irregular plurals
•Articulation: one page for each sound with 4 IMF words /p, b, m, n, t, d, k, g, f, v, l, s, z, sh, ch,th/. One page for initial /r/, or, ire, ar, ear, er, air and mixed l-blends, s-blends, r-blends.
•Phonological processes: minimal pairs with one page each for final consonant deletion, velar fronting, cluster reduction, stopping (f, s), gliding
